Skin Rejuvenation: MD Elite iProX
We are excited to offer patients a new option for skin rejuvenation: the MD Elite iProX. This minimally-invasive treatment combines intense pulsed light (IPL) and radio frequency (RF) therapy in one platform to stimulate optimal collagen production and ultimately treat fine lines and wrinkles. This technology is also used to treat dry eye.
How MD Elite iProX Works
During each 10-minute treatment, a gel is applied to your eyes and protective pads or goggles are placed over your eyes. Radio energy waves are applied to introduce heat to the dermis for collagen stimulation. The treatment is gentle and comfortable for most patients and there is little to no downtime. Results are immediate. However, for maximum effects, you may require 2-4 treatments at least 2 weeks apart as well as annual treatments to maintain your results.
It is normal to experience temporary redness around the eyes for a few hours after treatment. We recommend that you avoid direct sunlight for a few days after your treatment.
